What did Ricky Martin do?

Pop star Ricky Martin’s lawyer has strongly denied allegations that his client molested his nephew. These allegations have been made by the lawyer of the singer. The attorney further said that the allegations were “not only false” but also “disgusting”, according to the report published in Variety.

In early July, Martin was sent a restraining order to Puerto Rico. The reason for the order was cited as domestic violence.

TMZ said Friday that the singer’s brother, Eric Martin, named the victim as Martin’s nephew, who is 21. Eric Martin’s statement was confirmed by Martin. While this was going on, however, attorney Martin Singer said Martin’s nephew was “struggling with profound mental health difficulties.”

Singer revealed the following in an interview with Variety: “Naturally, Ricky Martin has never been involved in any kind of sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew, and he never will be. The petitioner could not be traced when the restraining order was brought on July 2. El Vocero, a Puerto Rican news outlet, reported that the alleged perpetrator was someone Martin had dated for a period of seven months prior to the incident.

According to the petitioner’s statements at the time, Martin had overruled the breakup and was seen near his residence on several occasions, as reported by Variety.

According to TMZ, Martin is scheduled to appear in court on July 21, and during that hearing, a judge will decide whether the restraining order should continue or not be lifted.
