Cambodian Parliament President leaves for Vietnam, Laos!

 Phnom Penh, Sept 12 (IANS) Cambodia National Assembly Speaker Heng Samrin left on Monday for a trip to the neighboring nations of Vietnam and Laos, officials said.

During his visit to Vietnam from Monday to Wednesday, Samrin will meet with Vuong Dinh Hue and meet with the administrator of the National Assembly of Vietnam and meet with General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Prime Minister Pham Minh. Chinh explained with reference to Xinhua news agency.

Cambodia’s top lawmaker will then be in Laos from Wednesday to Friday, where he will pay a courtesy call on President Thongloun Sisoulith and Prime Minister Phankham Viphavanh.

He will also meet with other high-ranking parliamentarians of Laos.

“The visits are to strengthen and develop fellowship and participation between Cambodia and Vietnam, as well as between Cambodia and Laos,” said Leng Peng Long, Secretary General of the Cambodian National Assembly.
